Kathy Lamberger, principal of Washington Junior High School has a new approach to anti-bullying: teach kindness first.
“Our focus is so much on what is the right thing to do rather than what is the wrong thing to do,” Lemberger said. “I’m not an advocate of stop bullying, I’m an advocate more of what it means to be kind, what are we supposed to do? Rather than this approach of what not to do, what is the right thing to do should, in my opinion, be what our focus should be on.”
