Bruce Lee’s Legacy Collection on blu-ray critiqued by Rod Lott

Critic Rod Lott admires and highly recommends the new Bruce Lee Legacy Collection on blu-ray. Unlike the DVDs 4 disc collection of his four top movies, the blu-ray collection comes with exciting extras. Along with each of the four movie discs come with a second disc of interviews, trailers, and other material.

The ninth disc holds two well-made documentaries: 1973s “Bruce Lee: the Man, the Legend,” and 1977s “Bruce Lee: The Legend.” Although the two documentaries share some repeated material, Lott says, “both remain reverent without fully stepping into Bruceploitation territory.”

The tenth disc holds the complete documentary, “I Am Bruce Lee.” The eleventh, and final disc, “Bonus Features” offers nine selections from “Game of Death Revised” to “Stills Gallery.” The interviews have a stronger appeal to martial arts students; they are lengthy and a lot of fun.

After the article readers can watch a video on selections from the collection.
