When over 100 abandoned pet turtles and terrapins were recently found in a lake district of England that could snap the leg off a duck, officials have expressed concern for children when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles releases its upcoming film.
Children inclined to capture roaming snapping turtles may end up losing a finger, warns Terry Bowes, director of Wetheriggs Zoo and Animal Sanctuary in Cumbria.
Parents are advised to take measures to inform and protect their children of such an unfortunate event.
