Larry Tatum demonstrates Kenpo karate moves in this well-executed video with music.
He begins with sparring techniques. He demonstrates how keep your guard up from which you can use defensive as well as offensive moves simultaneously. He hits the opponents hand away, while making a quick strike with his other hand to the opponents head or ribs.
Next he demonstrates use of the foot position. Using the exact same moves, crossing over and stepping through, he demonstrates what your feet should do.
Next he demonstrates the kick. You can change your offensive strike with the same moves by using a kick to the stomach. He also demonstrates a shuffle followed by a kick, called a skid-kick, which pulls you into the proper position to grab and punch.
He also demonstrates the attacking zones. When having to defend yourself on the street, he demonstrates how to use the cross-over with a kick, and step through with a punch to take down your opponent. He then demonstrates the heel palm strike. He demonstrates the KB1aH and the KB4aH.
All these basic moves provide the technique necessary for freestyle fighting.
